Your account, and the numbers behind it

See what your displays are actually doing

Every display comes with an account. Signing in and re-pointing your displays is free and always will be. Add a subscription and the same screen starts telling you how often each one is tapped, when your busy hours really are, and which spots in the room earn their keep.

Why it exists

The chip doesn't point at Google. It points at us.

That one decision is what makes everything else possible. Write a Google address onto a chip and it's set in stone — change your mind and the only fix is to visit every table with a phone. Point it at us instead and we forward the tap on, in a fraction of a second, to wherever you say. Change the destination this afternoon and every display in the building follows, instantly, without anyone touching them.

Move where taps go

Send everything to Google today and Tripadvisor next month. Point the beer garden somewhere different from the restaurant. No new chips, no visits, no cost.

Know what's working

Every tap is counted with the time, the day and the display it came from. Which table earns reviews and which one is being ignored stops being guesswork.

Ask for something extra

On a subscription, a tap can offer your newsletter or your app on the way through — then carry on to the review exactly as it would have done.

Nothing to install

It's a web page. Sign in on your phone behind the bar or on the office computer — there's no app to download and nothing to keep updated.

What you'd see

This is the dashboard

An example, with invented numbers for a venue that doesn't exist. This is the subscriber's view — yours looks like this, with your own displays in it.

The honest bit

What it can tell you, and what nothing can

It can tell you

  • How many times each display was tapped, and exactly when
  • Your busiest hours and your busiest days
  • Which display, and which area of the room, gets used most
  • Whether people were on an iPhone or an Android
  • Who asked to join your newsletter, and at which display

It can't tell you

  • Whether somebody went on to actually leave a review
  • Who they were, unless they chose to give you their email

Google, Tripadvisor and the rest don't share that with anybody, so no product can honestly claim it. Taps are the part you can influence — put a display where people will use it, and more of them do.

More than a review

A tap can do two jobs

On a subscription, a tap can show a short page with your name on it before it carries on to the review. Nothing is held back from your customer — the review button is the biggest thing on the screen and it's there for everyone, whatever they think of you. But while somebody's there, you can ask.

Your newsletter

They type an address, press the arrow, and they're signed up and on their way. The list is yours — download it as a spreadsheet any time.

Your app

Put in your App Store and Google Play links and each customer is shown the right one for the phone in their hand. Nobody on an Android lands in the App Store.

Set per display

The bar can ask about the app while the restaurant asks about the newsletter. Every display is set on its own.

Their address, your list

Those emails stay yours. We only hold them on your behalf, you can take them with you, and we'll delete them whenever you ask — it's written down.

What costs what

Free for ever, or the full picture

No trial that expires and leaves you stranded. The part that keeps your displays working is free permanently — the subscription is only for the reporting and the extras.

Free, for as long as you have your displays

  • Your own account, on any phone or computer
  • Every display keeps working, for ever
  • Change where any display sends people, whenever you like
  • Name your displays and group them by area

This never stops and never expires. Even if you subscribe and later cancel, your displays carry on sending customers to your review page exactly as before.

Subscription — £9.99 per venue, per month

  • How many taps you get, and on which days
  • Your busiest hours and busiest days
  • Every tap listed, downloadable as a spreadsheet
  • Offer your newsletter and your app when someone taps
  • Your sign-up list, and its spreadsheet
  • Point displays at more than one review or social platform

Or £99 a year per venue — two months free. Priced per venue, not per company: a group with three places pays three times. Cancel whenever you want.
